Why Bratislava works for a student
Bratislava is the capital and the largest student hub in Slovakia. Three of the six universities in our catalogue are here, each with its own profile: classical, technical and economic. The capital's advantage is the job market — banks, audit firms, IT and shared-service centres, start-ups where EUBA and STU students intern and earn while they study. Dormitories and a student budget in Bratislava
A university dormitory is the cheapest housing in the capital and the most sought-after. At Comenius University it is the Mlyny campus (Átriové domky, Manželské internáty) and Družba; at STU — Mladosť, Mladá garda, Jura Hronca, Nikosa Belojanisa, Dobrovičova; at EUBA — Dolnozemská next to the main building, Starohájska, Prokopa Veľkého, Ekonóm and Vlčie hrdlo. The application is filed after admission, usually in summer; international students get places on equal terms.

Which Bratislava university admits without entrance exams?
Many Comenius University programmes (natural sciences, mathematics and informatics, education) and most STU faculties admit on the school certificate. From 2027/2028 EUBA runs a written test but exempts applicants with a SCIO result at the 60th percentile or higher and olympiad prize-winners.
Where in Bratislava can I study programming?
The main options are FIIT and FEI at the Slovak University of Technology and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics (FMFI) at Comenius University. Business informatics and data science in economics are taught at EUBA's FHI. More in the article on IT studies in Slovakia.
